The problem
Presenters at the station are good at radio and less keen on writing their own biographies and show blurbs, which meant profile content was missing or stale.
What I built
- Conversational drafting: the assistant asks a presenter about their show and tastes and drafts profile and show content from the answers, with the presenter editing and approving the final text.
- Grounded in station data: show and schedule data is injected from the WordPress REST API so the assistant knows what already exists.
- Red-teamed: tested collaboratively with adversarial prompts to find unexpected behaviours, inappropriate outputs and weaknesses before wider use, with the findings feeding back into the design and guardrails.
What I learned
- Generative AI works well in a creative workflow when the person stays in control of the final words.
- Red-teaming with colleagues who are not developers found problems a developer would not have thought to try.
