About
I've been building software for over 7 years, mostly on the frontend, and I'm currently working as a QA test analyst at Bluecrest Wellness. I spent nearly four years there as the sole frontend developer, building customer-facing systems in PHP, Laravel and Angular, and I'm now moving back towards full stack development.
Lately a lot of my work is AI engineering: agents that gather context and draft test plans for the engineering team, multi-agent chatbots, and a local lab for benchmarking and routing between models. I'm interested in the plumbing, which model to use for which step, what to keep a person in the loop for, and how to tell whether it worked.
Accessibility runs through everything I do. I hold a WCAG accessibility specialism, carry out freelance accessibility audits, and have an MSc in Digital Media Production focused on UX, human-centred design and accessibility. This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA and every page is tested for it before it deploys.
Outside work I'm a volunteer developer at CodeSouth radio, where I build the station's scheduling and compliance tools.
